We continued our succesful collaboration with Waanzee on an in-store video installation for Rotterdams Uitburo. The concept was to create videowall showing the wide range of cultural events and activities in Rotterdam. From Brazilian Carnival and the Danceparade to museums, and performing arts.
We shot High_Definition video of people performing against greenscreen backgrounds and composited them as silhouettes into a graphical 3D world consisting of typical Rotterdam landmarks. The final result is a seamless video loop with a continuous camera move to the right.
The soundtrack was created by the great crew at Sonic Picnic.
